For a second consecutive week, Aramco offered Arab Medium and Arab Heavy crude to Asian buyers via ship-to-ship transfers outside the Strait of Hormuz, loading tankers near Fujairah (UAE) and Sohar (Oman) so buyers avoid sending vessels directly into the strait. Two VLCCs carrying a combined 4 million barrels departed for China (Sinopec), with deliveries expected at Zhanjiang around September 12 and Ningbo around September 15 — signaling that Hormuz-adjacent flows remain elevated even as direct transits stay severely reduced.
