Ufa refinery and residential building hit in overnight drone strike

| Russia Fuel Crisis

A Ukrainian drone struck the AVT-6 unit at the Bashneft-UNPZ refinery in Ufa, Bashkortostan, sparking a fire at a unit that regional head Radiy Khabirov said was already undergoing maintenance. A separate drone crashed into a residential building in northern Ufa, shattering windows and damaging parked cars and injuring at least one person. Air defenses intercepted 4 of 6 drones targeting the region overnight; officials expected repairs within a couple of days. Separately, Gazprom Neft and Tatneft reimposed gasoline purchase caps at Moscow-area stations the same day as the 'second wave' of shortages reached the capital.
