Russia bans all diesel exports, including from producers

At a government meeting chaired by President Putin, Deputy PM Novak announced a full ban on diesel fuel exports effective July 8, 2026 — extending the earlier restriction (which had applied only to non-producer traders) to oil companies themselves, in order to redirect supply to the domestic market.
