Quantinuum and Oracle Partner to Bring Helios to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

| Quantum Theory

Quantinuum and Oracle announced a multi-year strategic partnership to deploy Quantinuum's 98-qubit trapped-ion Helios processor inside a US-based Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI data center, offered as a managed OCI quantum service alongside Oracle's HPC and GPU infrastructure for hybrid quantum-AI workloads. Alongside the deal, Quantinuum disclosed that Helios has demonstrated near-five-nines logical fidelity across 48 logical qubits, with an average two-qubit gate fidelity of 99.921% while drawing roughly 60 kW — under 1% of the power consumption of a leading supercomputer.
