IEP poll: Fujimori approval at 37% after less than two months in office

A national survey by the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (IEP), fielded September 4–10 and presented exclusively by RPP, put President Keiko Fujimori's approval at 37% against 49% disapproval (14% undecided). 52% of respondents said her government is 'more of the same,' versus 33% who see it as real change, and 47% consider her poorly or not at all prepared to govern. Congress fared worse, with only 20% approval against 65% disapproval. A separate Datum poll reported Fujimori's approval falling 18 points in her first month in office.
