El Chapo Guzmán Captured in Mazatlán

Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán Loera, head of the Sinaloa Cartel and Mexico's most wanted criminal, was arrested without a shot fired by SEMAR marines at the Miramar condominium in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, assisted by the U.S. DEA. It was his first capture since escaping from Puente Grande prison in 2001. The arrest was the most celebrated security success of the Peña Nieto administration.
