Field Marshal Munir Chairs 275th Corps Commanders Conference; Notes 65% Fall in KPK Terror Incidents
Field Marshal Asim Munir presided over the 275th Corps Commanders Conference at GHQ Rawalpindi, reviewing operational readiness and the internal security situation. The conference noted a 65% fall in terror incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq commenced, crediting sustained military pressure against TTP remnants. Commanders reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to eliminating all terrorist groups and reviewed the Afghanistan border situation following the string of ceasefire incidents in late April. The conference also assessed the post-Marka-e-Haq strategic environment vis-à-vis India.
