Gaza Ceasefire Violations Ongoing — Phase Two Stalled

As of March 20, 2026, the Gaza ceasefire framework established under Trump's 20-point peace plan remains technically in force but deeply fragile. Israeli military operations continue within Gaza with targeted strikes. Al Jazeera tracked over 2,073 Israeli ceasefire violations from October 10, 2025 through mid-March 2026, including airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire. At least 673 Palestinians were killed in the period since the October 2025 ceasefire. Phase Two of the agreement — covering Hamas disarmament and Israeli withdrawal — has not advanced, with both sides at an impasse.
