Troops Repel Boko Haram/ISWAP Attack on Forward Base in Ngala, Borno

Joint Task Force North East (Operation Hadin Kai) troops repelled an attack by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters on a Forward Operating Base in Logomani village, Ngala LGA, Borno State on July 9. One soldier was killed and two gun trucks along with other combat enablers were damaged in the engagement; troops also rescued people who had earlier been abducted by the insurgents during the operation.
