Thirteenth Airspace Breach: Drone Crosses Near Tudora Amid Fresh Odesa Strikes
On the morning of September 17, a drone entered Moldovan airspace at 08:56 from the direction of Bilyayivka, Ukraine, heading toward the village of Tudora in Ștefan Vodă district, before exiting back into Ukraine two minutes later at 08:58 near Palanca, continuing toward Lake Davydiv Lyman. The crossing occurred during a fresh wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine's Odesa region and was confirmed by Moldova's Ministry of Defence; no debris fell on Moldovan territory and no casualties were reported. It marks the thirteenth confirmed Moldovan airspace breach since the drone crisis began August 9, and comes hours ahead of the September 18-20 Russian State Duma election, for which Moscow plans to open contested polling stations across Transnistria.
