Russian Drones Damage Tabachi-Mirne Border Crossing Metres From Moldova

Russian drones struck the Tabachi checkpoint on the Ukrainian side of the Tabachi (Ukraine)-Mirne (Moldova) border crossing at around 00:35 on August 21, roughly 300 metres from Moldovan territory, damaging crossing-point buildings and sparking fires that Ukraine's State Emergency Service contained. Ukraine's State Border Guard Service confirmed the strike and notified Moldovan authorities in Chisinau; the crossing was suspended, with traffic diverted to other checkpoints. Moldova's Interior Ministry said no drone fragments or other hazardous debris were found on Moldovan territory and no casualties were reported. It followed a similar drone strike on the nearby Reni crossing point the previous day.
