First Repatriation Flights Land at Eindhoven
The first aircraft carrying the remains of MH17 victims arrives at Eindhoven Air Base in the Netherlands. Dutch King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, and Prime Minister Mark Rutte attend the solemn ceremony. The repatriation process takes many months as victim identification — complicated by the wide debris field — proceeds through DNA and dental analysis.
