50th Anniversary — Hundreds of Thousands March

On the 50th anniversary of the massacre, an estimated 50,000–100,000 people march in Mexico City from the IPN to Plaza de las Tres Culturas in the largest commemoration since the events of 1968. President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), who won the July 2018 election, pledges to create a Truth Commission and fully open government archives.
