New Mass Grave and Calcined Remains Found at Rancho Izaguirre — CJNG Training Camp
Searching collectives working at Rancho Izaguirre in Teuchitlán, Jalisco — the confirmed CJNG recruitment, training, and extermination compound — opened a septic tank approximately 80 centimeters underground on April 12, discovering calcined (incinerated) bone fragments, dental remains, clothing items (some possibly belonging to minors), and personal items predating 2015. The finds are described by collective members as 'much larger than last year.' Nearly 100 DNA samples have now been obtained from the site; two victims have been formally identified by FGR. Land processing of the compound is 75% complete. Officials imposed confidentiality restrictions on detailed findings. Rancho Izaguirre was identified in early 2025 as a CJNG camp where recruits were trained and where those who resisted or tried to flee were killed, with bodies incinerated to destroy evidence. The new discoveries extend the known scope and timeline of killings at the site, now stretching at least 11 years into CJNG's history.
