IED Kills Two IDF Reservists in Majdal Zoun

Two Israeli reserve soldiers, Maj. (res.) Harel Birenstock and Sgt. Maj. (res.) Tamir Vaknin of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade, were killed and four others seriously wounded when an explosive device detonated inside a booby-trapped building in Majdal Zoun, a village with no known Hezbollah presence, during an operation to demolish Hezbollah infrastructure. Investigators could not immediately determine when the device was planted or how it detonated.
