Settlers Besiege Beit Imrin Home for Three Hours; IDF Then Storms House, Arrests All Nine Occupants, Blocks Red Crescent
Israeli settlers besieged a Palestinian home on the outskirts of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus, for more than three hours on the night of August 16, 2026, blocking both residents and Palestine Red Crescent ambulances from reaching those trapped inside. Israeli occupation forces then arrived and raided the house themselves, detaining all nine Palestinians who had been confined inside and damaging the contents of the home before withdrawing. Soldiers separately blocked Red Crescent crews from the area and confiscated their ambulance keys. Beit Imrin is nominally under full Palestinian civil and security control (Area A/B), underscoring the reach of settler pressure into areas outside direct Israeli military administration.
