Israeli Settlers Burn Mosque, Homes, and Dairy Factory in At-Tawani, Masafer Yatta

Israeli settlers set fire to the village mosque in at-Tawani, Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills, along with two Palestinian homes and a dairy factory. The attack is part of a wider surge in West Bank settler violence that OCHA later confirmed made July 2026 (jointly with March 2026) the deadliest month for Palestinians in settler-related incidents since October 2023. Human Rights Watch separately documented settlers burning a family home in the nearby village of Tal on the same day.
