IDF Drone Strike Kills Man East of Khan Younis; Hamas Operatives Targeted in Gaza City

| Israel-Palestine

Israeli forces conducted multiple targeted strikes in Gaza on March 28. A man was killed and several others wounded in an IDF drone strike on a car near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis, close to the ceasefire line on the Hamas-controlled side; the killed and wounded were taken to Nasser Hospital. Separately, Israeli airstrikes killed two Hamas operatives — Fahmi and Saed Qaddoum — in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. Hamas's Deterrent Force identified the two as resistance fighters struck after fending off 'collaborationist militia' operatives who attempted to abduct them. The IDF also struck a Hamas arms depot in northern Gaza City and conducted overnight strikes on a weapons production site in southern Khan Younis, citing ceasefire violations by Hamas operatives who fired on IDF troops stationed in the eastern buffer zone. The IDF stated it had eliminated approximately 60 Hamas operatives in Gaza in the preceding month amid continuing low-level clashes.
