Houthis Threaten Riyadh for First Time, Claim Strike on Yanbu Aramco Facility
Yemen's Houthi movement claimed missile and drone attacks on 'sensitive sites' in Riyadh and an Aramco oil facility in Yanbu — the first time the group has threatened the Saudi capital since Yemen's civil war resumed. The Saudi-led coalition said it intercepted a ballistic missile fired at Riyadh at dawn; smoke was seen near a fuel depot close to King Khalid International Airport before an all-clear was issued. Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki said additional attempted strikes on Yanbu, Bisha, Taif and Farasan were thwarted by air defenses.
