Houthis Attack Saudi Aramco's Jazan Refinery, Claim Strike Near Mokha

Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi movement said it struck Saudi Aramco's Jazan refinery in southwestern Saudi Arabia with a drone, sparking a fire that was extinguished with no injuries reported. The Houthis said the attack was in response to alleged Saudi drone incursions into Saada and Hajjah governorates in Yemen. The 400,000 bpd refinery had already been shut down since a July 27 Houthi attack damaged its gasification complex and tank farm. Hours later, the Houthis separately claimed a 'large-scale' operation targeting Saudi-backed forces near Mokha on Yemen's Red Sea coast.
