Iranian Missile Hits Eshtaol Near Jerusalem — IDF Failed to Intercept
An Iranian ballistic missile successfully struck the Jerusalem-area town of Eshtaol, leaving several people lightly injured. The Israeli Air Force failed to intercept the missile — the IAF opened an investigation into the interception failure. Rocket trails were separately seen above Netanya during a fresh barrage. The successful strike on Eshtaol — inside the greater Jerusalem metropolitan area — represents one of Iran's most significant penetrations of Israeli air defenses in the conflict. Iran's ability to continue launching strikes despite IDF/CENTCOM claims of near-total destruction of Iran's missile production capacity reflects the size of pre-war stockpiles. IDF Iron Dome and Arrow systems remained active across the country.
