IDF Strikes Ballistic Missile Sites in Kermanshah and Dezful; IRGC Navy Commander Killed

The IDF conducted overnight strikes on dozens of Iranian military sites in western Iran, dropping approximately 70 bombs on ballistic missile storage and launch facilities in Kermanshah and Dezful. In the same operation, IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri — the senior officer who orchestrated Iran's drone blockade of the Strait of Hormuz — was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Isfahan. US CENTCOM confirmed the strike. Tangsiri was considered one of the key architects of Iran's Hormuz closure strategy, directing IRGC Navy operations against commercial shipping in the strait. IDF stated this brings total hits on designated operation targets to approximately 75%.
