Grand Bazaar Shutdown Enters Second Day

Tehran's Grand Bazaar remained shuttered for a second consecutive day. The Alaeddin and Charsoo mobile phone complexes, Yaftabad furniture market, and Delavaran market all joined the closure. Approximately 100 businessmen marched from Lalezar Street toward Imam Khomeini Square before security forces halted them at the Istanbul intersection.
