BJP Launches Four-Day Statewide Agitation Over Cases Against JPSC/JSSC Protesters

Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi leads the Dumka wing, calling for a CBI review of 'all recruitments made in Jharkhand over the past five to six years,' while former Chief Minister Raghubar Das leads in Hazaribagh, saying prosecuting peaceful student protesters 'amounted to suppressing their democratic rights.' Sahu says the BJP 'has always stood with students and youth movements' and accuses the JMM government of targeting students who spoke out. The party cites '300+' students still facing cases, a lower figure than the 600-1,600+ bookings reported by press tallies across districts in August, without reconciling the discrepancy.
