Jamia Students Gherao Dean's Office Over Admission Scam, Demand Controller's Resignation

A week after the four suspensions, students led by the All India Students' Association (AISA) — joined by AIRSO, DISSC, Fraternity Movement, MSF, NSUI, SFI and SIO — march from the Hygienic Canteen and gherao the office of the Dean of Students' Welfare, demanding a face-to-face meeting. The coalition escalates its demands beyond the original suspension dispute, calling for the resignation of the Controller of Examinations, a transparent high-level inquiry into the alleged spot-registration admission scam, and revocation of the campus ban on the suspended student leaders.
