Milo Yiannopoulos Arrested by ICE at New Orleans Airport for Visa Overstay

| ICE

British far-right commentator and former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos was arrested by ICE on August 27, 2026 at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana, where he had reportedly been staying in New Orleans working with musician Ye (Kanye West). DHS said Yiannopoulos entered the U.S. legally on May 14, 2019 through New York City but 'chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation's laws.' An immigration judge issued a final removal order on July 22, 2026 after Yiannopoulos failed to appear for a scheduled immigration hearing. Following his arrest he was held at ICE's Alexandria, Louisiana detention/removal hub. Far-right activist Laura Loomer publicly celebrated the arrest.
