Germany and Ukraine Launch 'Brave Germany' €4B Defense Package with Deep-Strike Drones

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius traveled to Kyiv and signed a landmark joint defense agreement branded the 'Brave Germany' arms program. The centerpiece is joint production of long-range 'Deep Strike' drones with a range of up to 1,500 km, along with 5,000 AI-enabled medium-range strike drones for Ukrainian forces. The broader package totals €4 billion and includes Patriot missile systems, 36 IRIS-T launchers, and €300 million specifically for Ukrainian deep-strike capabilities.
