Amaglobeli Awarded Sakharov Prize in Strasbourg (in Absentia)

The European Parliament formally awarded the 2025 Sakharov Prize to Mzia Amaglobeli, represented by fellow journalist Irma Dimitradze. Her prepared remarks said the regime 'destroys free journalism, abolishes opposition political parties and imprisons their leaders... yet it has failed to silence the protests,' and appealed: 'Fight with us and for us.'
