Israeli strikes kill at least eight Palestinians in Khan Younis and Gaza City, including five police officers and a 4-year-old

Medics and the Hamas-run interior ministry say a strike in western Khan Younis killed five police officers, and an airstrike in Gaza City killed three people including a father and his four-year-old son (Al-Shifa Hospital). The IDF said it struck several militants in Khan Younis without further detail. Gaza officials put the toll since the October 2025 ceasefire at 1,500+ killed.
