Anti-Israel protests erupted across New York City on the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks, with students at Columbia University and NYU staging walkouts. The demonstrations mark the latest wave of campus and street-level protests in the United States against the ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza, now in their fourth year. The anniversary drew renewed attention to the conflict and its domestic political reverberations, with activists demanding a permanent ceasefire and an end to US military aid to Israel.
