Israeli Drone Strike Destroys Vehicle in Tal al-Hawa, Killing Three

Later on Monday, August 31, 2026, an Israeli drone strike hit a civilian car in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest/west of Gaza City, killing at least three Palestinians. Al-Shifa Hospital received three bodies. Civil defense images showed the vehicle reduced to a blackened, warped shell as bystanders and first responders extinguished the fire. The Israeli military said it had attacked Hamas Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades operatives travelling in the vehicle, without providing further detail.
