Noboa Wins Runoff, González Alleges 'Grotesque Fraud'

Daniel Noboa defeats Luisa González by an 11-point margin (55.6% to 44.3%) to win a first full four-year term, after deploying armed soldiers to polling stations and closing borders with Colombia and Peru on election day. González disputes the results without presenting evidence, declaring: 'I denounce, before the people, before the media and the world, that Ecuador is living under a dictatorship. This is the biggest fraud in the history of Ecuador!'
