20 Sentenced in 'Metástasis' Judicial Corruption Case

An Ecuadorean court sentences 20 people — including Wilman Terán, former president of the National Judicial Council, and Pablo Ramírez, former head of the prisons authority SNAI — to between 40 months and 10 years for running a corruption network on behalf of drug trafficker Leandro Norero that manipulated judicial processes to favor imprisoned gang members.
