DRC Ebola Toll Reported at 5,514 Cases, 2,690+ Deaths as CFR Climbs to 47.9%

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had said on 18 August that the outbreak 'was spreading more quickly than any previous one.'
