Trump Formally Notifies UN of U.S. Withdrawal from WHO

The Trump administration formally notifies the United Nations of its intention to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization, effective July 2021. The withdrawal was the first by any member state. President-elect Biden pledges to reverse the decision on his first day in office.
