Cadem: Kast Approval Rises to 41%, With 93% Backing 'Plan Cancerbero' and 90% Approving of Duco's Exit

The 681st edition of Plaza Pública Cadem, released August 16, put President Kast's approval up 2 points to 41%. The same survey found 93% support for the 'Plan Cancerbero' prison-transfer operation (62% calling it meaningful change in penitentiary policy) and 90% agreement with Natalia Duco's removal as Sports Minister. Respondents also expressed near-unanimous rejection of personal use of government vehicles — 92% opposed using them for vacation travel and 91% for family celebrations, the norms at the center of the Duco scandal. Among other figures tested, Tomás Vodanovic and Sebastián Sichel each polled at 60% favorability, ahead of former presidents Bachelet (48%) and Boric (45%).
