Ceuta Resident Stabbed by Four Migrants During Attempted Robbery in La Almadraba

A Ceuta resident was stabbed multiple times around 3:45am Friday at a roundabout in the La Almadraba area, between the Sidi Embarek cemetery and the entrance to Ceuta's University Hospital. The victim, riding a motorcycle, said four men he identified as migrants approached to steal his phone and a gold chain; he suffered stab wounds to both sides of his body and one hand during the struggle. A nearby Spanish Legion patrol gave first aid before he was taken to the University Hospital's emergency department. Police are working to identify and locate the assailants. The attack adds to a string of assaults on residents and security forces reported since the July 30-31 mass crossing.
