Finland Says Spain 'Failed' to Protect the Border

Finnish Interior Minister Mari Rantanen says Spain has 'completely failed to protect the external border' and that on that basis Spain 'cannot be members of Schengen,' as Helsinki prepares its own border controls. Sweden's PM Ulf Kristersson, Denmark's PM Mette Frederiksen, Austria's Chancellor Christian Stocker and Czechia join Italy in backing Schengen-suspension measures against Spain over the following days.
