Fort Simpson and Wrigley Ordered to Evacuate to Yellowknife

An out-of-control fire roughly 7 km west of Fort Simpson Airport forced immediate evacuation of most of the community's 1,300 residents, along with 130 people from Wrigley. Most evacuees sheltered in Yellowknife.
