BTS Sweep 2026 MTV VMAs, Winning Song of the Year for 'SWIM'

September 27, 2026 (US time) — BTS won all three categories they were nominated for at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles: Song of the Year for 'SWIM' (lead single of ARIRANG, their first in that category), Best K-Pop, and Best Group — their fifth Best Group trophy, following four straight wins from 2019 to 2022. The group did not attend the ceremony.
