BTS Ranks No. 2 in August Star Brand Reputation Rankings

August 29, 2026 — The Korean Business Research Institute released its August Star Brand Reputation Rankings, placing BTS second overall with a brand reputation index of 9,495,066 — a 16.77% rise from July. Rookie group RESCENE topped the list at 10,180,185 (+27.65%), with Lim Young Woong, Yu Jae Seok, and ATEEZ rounding out the top five; BLACKPINK, aespa, Stray Kids, IVE, SEVENTEEN, and NCT also placed in the top 30. The index is compiled from media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness data gathered July 29–Aug 29. It follows BTS's earlier August win in the separate Idol Group category, where the group held No. 1 with an index of 7,107,645 (+9.04%), edging RESCENE by under 0.9%.
