'SWIM' Ties 'Dynamite' for BTS's Longest No. 1 Run on Billboard Global (Excl. US) — 8th Consecutive Week
Billboard publishes its June 6, 2026 chart issue on June 2, confirming that 'SWIM' has now spent 8 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) chart — tying 'Dynamite' (2020) for BTS's longest-ever No. 1 run on that chart. The tracking week of May 22–28 tallied 41.8 million streams (down 8%) and 2,000 sales (up 8%) outside the United States. The milestone marks a historic level of sustained dominance: no K-pop track had previously held the Global (Excl. US) No. 1 for this long, and the tie now puts SWIM in contention to surpass 'Dynamite' and set an outright record if it holds for a 9th week. SWIM is now in its 11th consecutive week on the Billboard Hot 100 (No. 55), itself an all-time K-pop record for sustained chart longevity on that chart. ARIRANG's full catalogue remains active on global streaming charts heading into BTS FESTA 2026 (the 13th anniversary countdown), with the Busan Asiad Main Stadium concerts on June 12–13.
