BTS Departs Seoul for Tokyo Dome — First Japan Concerts in Seven Years

Six of the seven BTS members departed from Gimpo Airport on April 15, 2026, flying to Tokyo for the Arirang World Tour's first overseas leg at Tokyo Dome. Suga traveled separately on a later flight. Fan crowds gathered at Gimpo to see the group off; footage of their arrival in Japan was covered live on YouTube. V (Kim Tae-hyung) arrived at Gimpo in his Bentley to the delight of fans present. The Tokyo Dome shows (April 17–18) mark BTS's first concerts in Japan in approximately seven years. Fan support campaigns began in Tokyo in anticipation of the concerts, including a Jimin billboard at Cross Shinjuku Vision (April 15–21) and a V fan campaign across multiple Tokyo digital screens.
