Supreme Electoral Tribunal Launches Electoral Reform Process
Bolivia's Supreme Electoral Tribunal and its nine departmental tribunals opened formal discussions in Cochabamba on electoral-system reform, covering the electoral roll, electoral justice, political representation, and transparency controls. The initial phase is meant to produce an internal roadmap before the dialogue expands within weeks to political organizations, journalists, Indigenous peoples, and civil society — a process launched independently of, but running alongside, the diesel-decree and Cerimedo crises.
