Morales Rallies Cocaleros, Calls Paz an "Accidental President"

Speaking to hundreds of supporters at a rally in Ivirgarzama, in his Cochabamba Trópico cocalero stronghold, Evo Morales said: "Oportunamente dijimos [Rodrigo Paz] es un presidente por accidente. Ahora se demuestra eso" ("We said early on that Paz is an accidental president. Now that's being shown"), accusing him of corruption and of only knowing how to "steal" rather than govern. Morales also questioned the legitimacy of the state of emergency in effect since June, and union leaders allied with him announced they would seek to coordinate mobilizations with other regions against Decree 5676's diesel price hike.
