SpaceX Starship Flight 12 Full-Stack Static Fires Complete — HLS Version 3 Targeting Late April Orbital Demo

| Artemis II

SpaceX confirmed all full-stack static fire tests for Starship Flight 12 (Starship Version 3) are complete: Ship 39 completed its static fire on April 14 and Booster 19 successfully ignited all 33 next-generation Raptor 3 engines at Starbase Pad 2 in Boca Chica, Texas on April 15. With both vehicle elements cleared, SpaceX is targeting Flight 12 — the first orbital-class launch from Starbase Pad 2 — for late April or early May 2026. The Starship V3 configuration is the vehicle targeted for Artemis III's Human Landing System (HLS) role: Flight 12 will validate Version 3 propulsive maneuvers and reentry systems critical to the Artemis III low-Earth orbit rendezvous and docking test planned for 2027.
