Artemis II Crew Boards Orion — Suit-Up, White Room Signing, Hatch Closure

The Artemis II crew completed their pre-launch suit-up at the Operations and Checkout Building at Kennedy Space Center following Launch Director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson's afternoon weather briefing. Each of the four crew members — Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen — signed the 'white room' wall at LC-39B per the tradition established during the Gemini program, continuing through Apollo and Shuttle. Crew ingress began at approximately 2:30 p.m. EDT (L-04:00 hours). The Launch Abort System hatch was closed at approximately L-01:30 hours. Ground teams performed final closeout work on the crew access arm before its retraction at T-02:55 hours.
