Artemis II Crew Flies to Kennedy Space Center for Final Countdown Quarantine

The four Artemis II astronauts — Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch (NASA), and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen (CSA) — flew from Houston to Kennedy Space Center to complete their pre-launch quarantine at KSC in preparation for the April 1, 2026 launch attempt. This is the final milestone before crew ingress and launch day activities. Victor Glover will be the first Black astronaut to travel beyond Earth orbit; Christina Koch will be the first woman to travel to the Moon's vicinity; Jeremy Hansen will be the first non-American on a lunar trajectory.
