Artemis II Crew Enters Quarantine; Rollout to LC-39B Finalized
NASA finalized the Artemis II rollout schedule and the four-person crew — Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen — began their pre-launch quarantine at Johnson Space Center in Houston. Two days later, on March 20, crawler-transporter 2 carried the fully stacked SLS and Orion to Launch Complex 39B at 11:21 a.m. EDT, completing an 11-hour, 4-mile journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building. The launch is targeted no earlier than April 1, 2026 at 6:24 p.m. EDT, the first crewed mission to a lunar trajectory since Apollo 17 in 1972.
