SLS Green Run Hot Fire Test 2 — Full Success (499 Seconds)
The second Green Run static fire at Stennis Space Center B-2 test stand ran the full 8 minutes 19 seconds (499 seconds), firing all four RS-25 engines and generating 1.6 million pounds of thrust. All secondary objectives — engine gimballing, throttle profiles — were met. SLS Program Manager John Honeycutt declared the core stage earned 'an A-plus.' The test cleared SLS to ship to Kennedy Space Center for flight processing.
